In the article “Astronomers Observe a ‘Zombie’ Supernova That Keeps Exploding” by Outer Places describes how a super nova identified as “iPTF14hl” has been exploding repeatedly over the course of 3 years. This super nova has left the astronomers “puzzled” about how and why it hasn’t exploded and disappeared like a normal supernova. This star has been named “zombie” supernova because of the repeated final burst of light.
